Pay It Forward is a program the Chateaugay Teachers Association started two years ago. On the first payday of every month the teachers order lunch from a particular local business. The CTA also purchases a $20 gift certificate from that business and raffles it off. Everyone that participates that month puts their name into the raffle and we then draw the winner of the gift certificate the following Monday.

We started this program as a way to show our appreciation to the community members of Chateaugay. We are very lucky to have a community who supports our school on a daily basis. We felt this was a great way to say thank you for all of the support and to show our appreciation for the local businesses as well.
